Man Shall Not Live on Bread Alone

"Man shall not live on bread alone."

How important is it to fast?

It is very important. Part of fasting is completely living by faith, getting rid of our backup plans, and watching God work.

I do hope life after Citadel has been good to you, "Stonewall,' and plans have worked out - Ellery and maybe a submariner career. I found your college blog when I was looking for that reply to a time query, "...the great sidereal movement by which time is commonly reckoned..." Learned the line before I was 6 - my dad went there, the 'Lost Class' of 1944. Read bits of your blog, you remind me so much of my brother - my brother went there, class of 75 I think, and was reborn in Christ. He never went into the military, though. He's a pastor now himself, and works for the ministry of a church in Fort Walton Beach. Anyway, I hope you've had the fortune to find more joy than sacrifice in the last couple of years... Just a stranger wandering by.
